Everlane Obsession: My Current Favorites & How To Style Them.

One of my New Year resolutions was to spend more money on investment pieces and less on fast fashion trends. Because of this Everlane has been one of my new favorite places to shop. They focus on classic, high quality pieces that will last for years and are easy to style up or down depending on your day.

Below I styled a few items they were gracious enough to gift to me, along with a few other items that I had purchased before. I try to be as transparent as possible on here, so I would never recommend clothes I didn’t love and hadn’t already spent my own money purchasing.

Before we get into the clothes I want to share a little background on the company (which is another reason I LOVE them).

Transparency: Not only do they make amazing clothes but Everlane is VERY transparent about where their costs are coming from. You can get information on everything from the cost of materials, labor, transport, and even the duty fees for shipping (which as a girl who works in logistics I find fascinating).

Ethical Manufacturing: They have factories all over the world including one in the US that you can find detailed information for on their site. I respect how they are so open about their factories (in a world where unethical manufacturing seems to be the norm). It makes me feel good knowing my clothes are coming from a happy and safe place.

Now onto the clothes…

The Silky Cotton Relaxed Shirt – $50:
For when you want to look chic at the office or casual and cool on the weekend. This shirt does it all and comes in a bunch of colors. At $50 you will want it in multiple.
Sizing: Runs true to size (I got a 4)
The Cashmere Tee — $90
The luxurious cashmere we all know and love, now brilliantly brought to us in a short sleeved top.
Sizing: Runs true to size (I got a small).
The 40-Hour Flat — $115
If you’re looking for a flat that is comfortable all day long and goes with everything, look no further. Airport tested (by yours truly) and ready to make any outfit that much cuter!
Sizing: Runs true to Size (I got a 9)
The ReNew Anorak — $88
Lightweight, water resistant and made of 100% recycled fabric derived from 28 plastic water bottles. Perfect for running errands or heading to the gym.
Sizing: Runs large – would size down (I am an XS or XXS)

Casual Outfit #1:

I am in love with this Silky Cotton Relaxed shirt. Not only is it beautifully made (the stitching is honestly so well done) and extremely comfortable, it’s also really easy to dress up or down. It’s 100% cotton, machine washable and at $50 I want it in every color. If you pack it for a trip, definitely bring a steamer because it does get wrinkly traveling. I pared it with the Cheeky Straight Jean in Faded Indigo Wash and the 40 hour flats in nude.

Casual Outfit #2:

When I think cashmere, I typically think of long sleeve sweaters and scarves, but Everlane made this luxurious material into a short sleeve option and I’m OBSESSED. This top comes in 8 different colors (I’m debating getting it in black). Because it’s cashmere it is dry clean only, but anytime you spend a little more money on a nice fabric dry cleaning is always the safest way to go. It is really lightweight, slightly cropped (it goes a little longer in the back) and again, is a perfect top for fun or work! I pared it with the Cheeky Straight Jean in Faded Indigo Wash and the 40 hour flats in nude.

Also with this outfit I paired the Anorak Jacket. It’s available in 5 colors, but I’m loving this canvas color with the black detail!

Coming back to my flats….I am always on the hunt for cute comfortable shoes that I can wear to work. Especially since I fly twice a week and am always running around airports. These pointed toe flats have become one of my new favorite go-to work shoes. They come in 5 colors (I also LOVE the blush pink), and are made of soft Italian leather.

I’ve worn these commuting at the airport and they passed my two most important tests: 1) They don’t set off the alarms in TSA and 2) They don’t hurt my feet after a long day with a 6AM flight.

Also Love this Cashmere Scarf! Cashmere on Cashmere – You can’t go wrong

Now onto a few other items I already owned and LOVE.

Jeans, Jeans, Jeans:

I have two pairs of jeans from Everlane. My first pair is the Cheeky Straight Jean in Faded Indigo Wash. These are my go-to jeans on the weekend when I’m cruising around or grabbing lunch with friends. The jeans you will see in the pictures below are the High Rise Skinny Jean in Dark indigo. These jeans are amazing because the wash is dark enough to look good at work if you’re allowed to dress more casually. Because their jeans are about 98% cotton they do NOT stretch so I would recommend ordering your regular size or sizing up depending on your preferred fit.

Casual Outfit #3:

This classic white blouse is perfect for the office. I love the oversized look of this one. Especially with the cute little side slits. It runs oversized so size down.

Last but not least is The Day Heel. Another Italian leather shoe which is the perfect heel hight to keep you on your feet all day. My only complaint about these shoes is the back is elastic which kind of indents my heel during the day (similar to Tory Burch flats..). However, my mom also has these and it doesn’t do it to her, so maybe I just have awkward sized feet. Who knows.. either way they are still super cute so I wear them all the time. These also run true to size.

Thanks for stopping by! If you have questions on any of these items please leave a comment and I’ll be happy to answer.

XOXO
