Hey everyone! A few weekends ago I had the pleasure of visiting Napa and it was just as incredible as you would imagine! A big group of my friends as well as my Mom and Aunt drove up for the weekend since a few of us were working close to San Francisco. There are SO many wineries that it would be impossible to see them all in one weekend, so we kept it simple and only visited a few.
Hess Winery: Funny story about this place. My mom actually met a VP from the winery at the Chicago O’Hare airport waiting for her flight to San Francisco, so we got to go and get free tastings. The wine here was AMAZING and they have a pretty awesome art gallery as well!
Silverado Vineyards: I didn’t enjoy the wine here as much but the view – OMG. So incredible! We hung out on the terrace here for a while – even though it was a little chilly when we went.
Napa is a pretty expensive weekend – but if you are fortunate enough to be able to go you will not be disappointed! I hope to make it back sometime soon!
And don’t forget about brunch the next morning – You’re going to need it! We went to Alexis Baking Company and got lemon ricotta pancakes…YUM!
Other Wineries recommended to me that I didn’t make it to:
Domaine Caneros, Scribe, Stags Leap, Cakebread, Sterling, Napa Bealieu, Gloria Ferrier, Paraduxx, Frogs Leap, Duckhorn, Mending Wall, Alpha Omega, Pride Mountain, Viader
